Erica is currently working for the Chicago Cubs in video production. (Daktronics Video Board Operator)

 

During Erica's time in Indianapolis, Indiana, at WTHR-Channel 13, she covered the Indy 500, Indianapolis Colts mini camp, Indiana Pacers, & Indiana Fever. Erica conducted interviews and edited packages. 

 

Throughout Erica's broadcasting career at Northern Illinois University, she served as the first ESPN3 sideline correspondent for NIU Athletics, a Huskie Vision correspondent, and video manager for the Northern Illinois Football team. 

 

While employed for Northern Illinois Media Services, Erica has filmed, conducted interviews, edited packages in Adobe Premiere, Avid and Edius, and served as the on-air correspondent for live broadcasts. She also has experience in many aspects of journalism on the production side including the Chyron Character Generator, EVS replay, and Daktronics Show Control.

 

In 2014, Erica was named Sports Reporter of the Year at Northern Illinois University. She also served as the anchor of an Emmy Award winning student produced newscast. In 2015, Erica was named Video Technician of the Year by the NIU football team. In addition, she was just recently named the 2015-2016 Northern Illinois University Outstanding Woman of the Year.

 

When Erica is not working she enjoys spending time with her dogs, cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with her family.
